Day1: Arrival
Upon arrival you will be picked from the airport by a tour driver to the hotel in Kigali. Meals and accommodation at Hotel des Mille Collines.
Day2: Kigali City Tour
After breakfast, you will head to Kigali Genocide Memorial where 259000 victims have been buried. This memorial also serves to educate about genocide around the world in the 20th century. You will continue to Kandt House museum of natural history and Nyamirambo Women Center
Day3: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park enroute culture corridor
After breakfast, you will be picked by our driver guide to Nyungwe National park; we will pass via the cultural corridor to see what the Rwandan culture has in stock in for us The Nyanza Royal Palace existed in the 19th century under the leadership of King Yuhi V Musinga. In 1899, Nyanza was transformed into a royal state / center and lots of artistic, economic and intellectual activities were carried out from this place. At Rukari, you find the striking domed traditional construction of the Royal Palace. It presents historical facts of the ancient Kingdom

Ethnographic Museum was built with help of the Belgian government. It first opened in 1989 and it is a good source of information on the cultural history of Rwanda and the region. With meals and accommodation at Nyungwe Top View Hotel.
Day4: Chimpanzees trekking and Canopy walk
Located in southwestern part of Rwanda is the magnificent rain-forest Nyungwe National Park which holds the source of Africa’s great rivers feeding river Nile on the East and river Congo on the West. It is a home to habituated chimpanzees and 12 other primate species, birds with over 300 species, butterflies and moths abound and the forest comprises of more than 243 species with canopy reaching 70m high in places, orchids and over 1000 plant types.
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee trekking and in the evening canopy walk. For meals and accommodation at Nyungwe Top View Lodge
Day5: Waterfall hike and Tea plantation.
After breakfast, you will go for waterfall hike and later after lunch tea plantation. Accommodation and meals at Nyungwe Top View Hotel.
Day6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Gorilla Guardians (Iby’Iwacu Culture Village)
Volcanoes National Park, which lies along the border with Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda consisting of 125 km2, is home to one third of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla, golden monkey and a rich of ecosystem. After breakfast, we will drive to Volcanoes National Park and after lunch head to Gorilla Guardians (Iby’Iwacu Culture Village), Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village is a living museum of Rwanda’s ancient ways supporting the local community. A guided community walk through this village will reward you with unusual and unforgettable experience as you visit different sites in this community. Day7: Golden Monkey trekking
As the name suggests, the monkeys have a striking golden fur coat, contrasting the green rain-forests of the Virunga Mountains and their dynamically character, are quite lovely to watch and offer excellent photography. Day8 Transfer to Lake Kivu.
With a surface area of some 2730 km2, Lake Kivu sits at almost 1500m above sea level. Perfectly safe to swim in, the water has a warm temperature of23-27o all year around. After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Kivu; a haven for beach retreat after adventure. Meals and accommodation at Kivu Serena Hotel.
Day9 Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, we will drive to Kigali and head to airport for departure.
